Job Description
Badoo is a social network for meeting new people, the largest Internet company in Western Europe. Today Badoo has 400+ million users worldwide. Badoo developments such as php-fpm, pinba, and blitz are well known in the opensource community. Our offices are conveniently located in the center of London and in the center of Moscow - these cities are close to us in spirit. We are looking for a person passionate about complicated systems and diverse teams. You are going to dive into an extraordinary world of Anti-Spam, take the ownership of the team of Business-logic, identify vector of ongoing and potential attacks. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Build an efficient team of business-logic (communication, tutoring, team assessment, onboarding) * Set goals, control implementation, check the result * Participate in the development of Antispam architecture and infrastructure * Improve and develop the new heuristics of Anti-spam * Detect new patterns of spam * Understand business problem and prioritize tasks REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE * Achieve goals * Lua or any other popular programming language - understand weak and strong parts of the language (be ready to learn Lua quickly, we'll help!) * Meet deadlines and highlight problems on time * Be result-oriented and take the responsibility GOOD TO HAVE * Experience in management of a team up to 10 people * Work with anti-spam, anti-fraud or similar systems * Understanding of network basics, web and network security * Strong knowledge of Lua or PHP * Experience with analytical tools (i.e. Zeppelin, Jupyter, etc...)
