VP Investment- Solar Energy Investments, Central London, c. 120,000 + bonus + carry The role This is an exciting new role in a high growth, international renewable energy investment firm. It's a great opportunity for an experienced investment professional to take ownership of multiple international solar energy M&A opportunities. You will be working closely with the M&A team, leading on deals using the company's investment models / business tools and systems. Essential skills and experience * Solid buy-side M&A experience in renewable energy or solar energy sector. * Strong analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills, ability to identify trends and give insights/recommendations for action with strong attention to detail; * Ability to prepare, structure and drive extensive due diligence activities against strict timescales, often with multiple counterparties; be able to articulate key deal terms, assumptions and sensitivities to other colleagues as necessary, orally and in writing. * Team player with ability to work on own initiative and under pressure; * Flexible and creative approach to problem solving and changing priorities; * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal and ability to interact across cultures/geographies; * High quality academic background degree * Legal right to work in the UK * Able to work in London and travel internationally as required Remuneration Circa 120,000 p.a. plus bonus + carry
