VP - FIG Sector The Firm Our client is a leading UK Investment Bank with an enviable track record of completed transactions. The team's senior bankers leverage comprehensive industry knowledge and relationships to maximise value for a wide range of companies. We are currently recruiting for their FIG sector team. The Opportunity This is a fabulous opportunity to join a highly respected FIG team that has a very strong pipeline of deals where you can add real value and have the ability to develop and grow. The team has a great culture and is very collegiate, the responsibilities are as follows: * Preparing, compiling and updating marketing and pitch materials. * Producing financial models and valuation methodologies for clients * Assess and analyse financial data to aid and develop valuations for clients. * Execute specific, ad-hoc projects that require industry research * Attending client/project meetings and call. Person Specification * Likely to be from one of the larger banks or elite boutique advisory firm. * Must have a minimum of 6 years M&A deal execution experience as well as some origination experience within the Financial Services sector. * Be able to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality * Must have a high standard of accuracy and strong mathematical skills. * Logical and methodical approach to problem solving * Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Main Responsibilities: * To work on and execute transactions on behalf of clients. * Support Senior Corporate Finance professionals in structuring and executing transactions and new business efforts, by performing financial and statistical analyses, conducting research, preparing support documentation and assisting in due diligence efforts. * To act as a principal day-to-day point of contact with clients. * To work with Senior management on preparing marketing documentation for prospective new clients. * This is a great opportunity to join a successful, growing business body {font: normal 400 13px/16px 'Open Sans','Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;color:#333;margin:10px;}p,span,div,b,i,u{ line-height: 120% !important; font-family: 'Open Sans','Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif !important; }
