As the leading consolidator in our space, we have been acquiring companies to add to our scale and product portfolio at a rapid rate. About the role: A great new permanent role has become available working for the largest global provider of trading, analytics, and risk management solutions for capital markets, commodities, and treasury management. This position calls for an experienced brand and design specialist and function head. Our Global Head of Brand and Design will need to conceptualize design projects and come up with creative ideas based on specific customer needs. The candidate will have a proven track record of setting standards and delivering on design direction. Equally, they should also be able to create engaging artwork predominantly within Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, while following a brief, and stepping through the design process. Be equipped at developing strategic plans for these projects, determining how long they will take and what they will cost. As a key member of the business you will need to progress all areas of the brand and design being thoughtful of other key strategic areas and needs. You will be in charge of creating standards that deliver the entire ION brand with excellence and integrity. You should be confident in developing team objectives, with check-ins and reviews on a weekly basis, so that the mission is clear. You are a leader and a builder of people and teams. Someone that naturally inspires not just your team but the people around you. You will be leading one of our in-house Communications Agency teams, reporting to the Head of Communications Agency. Main requirements: Minimum of 10 years' experience in a B2B orientated environment An in-depth understanding of design within systems An in-depth understanding of brand to create customer centric experiences Able to demonstrate the development of design ideas A creative flair but able to set clear brand boundaries Supervise design projects and establish the right design team for the project Collaborate with Sales and Marketing and participate in customer meetings Champions projects: take them forward proactively and enthusiastically, committing to successful delivery Able to drive deadlines, manage workflow, and be self-motivated Able to both drive, and respond to cross channel collaboration Can quickly learn platforms, resources, tools, and services to deliver the objective Has excellent people skills and feels comfortable liaising with other stakeholders and departments in the business.
