About the Sales team The Sales team, together with Marketing, exist to drive predictable, repeatable growth - for each team member, for Attest, for clients and for consumers. How? We combine expertise across content, technology, demand generation, business development, sales and account management; and by pulling together as a single team, we're able to produce results that are greater than the sum of its parts. What you'll be doing Collaborative leadership. Collaborating closely with our commercial leadership, commercial teams and the wider Attest team, you will lead us to deliver ambitious growth targets for new client ARR. Using your deep sales acumen and customer-centric approach, you will enjoy mentoring and supporting team leads and individual team members to drive engagement and performance to ever new heights across the commercial team. Strategic focus and planning. You will have experience of setting directional goals across commercial disciplines at a strategic level, and default to defining clearly and pragmatically at the outset what you will need from the wider team to support the team's success in delivering against those goals, being proactive, forward looking and collaborative in your approach to execution of plans. Hiring, coaching and training. Developing, coaching, and continuously learning together is core to our shared values at Attest. You will embody this approach, leading by example. You'll work closely with the team leads and wider team to help everything fit together seamlessly, and to be greater than the sum of its parts. You will be someone who gains energy from spending your day to day focused on helping your team do their very best through a blend of effective coaching, training, and other team growth and support activities. Lead by example. Your leadership style will reflect the values and behaviours you wish to see in members of the commercial team. You default to supporting the team through consistent and positive encouragement, taking existing structures and working with the team to instil a learning mindset, and through giving individual team members the specific tools they need to become ever more accomplished sales professionals. An eye for detail and blend of instinct, data and expertise for improvement. Along with credibility and deep sales acumen, you will have a great eye for detail, capable of applying a suitable blend of domain expertise, data and instinct to experiment, test, adapt and deliver positive movement in our sales metrics. From conversion rates and sales cycle, to deal size and team productivity. Codify best practices. Continuously improving, to ensure you're always using and establishing best practices based on what works at Attest and for the team, together with lessons/experiences gained outside Attest, you'll be well versed in combining these with the data available to you (and which you will seek out) to identify and lean into patterns of success. You will have experience of codifying these best practices in a clear, easy to digest format for the team and wider business to read and revisit on our internal information sharing platform, Notion. Product-led. You will gain a deep understanding of the Mission and Vision of Attest, and become a true evangelist for our product goals, taking responsibility for guiding us to ensure the overall commercial goals of the business remain aligned with product goals through the fog of the day-to-day commercial operations, including taking a high-level view on customer feature requests that will inevitably surface over time. You will understand the important role you have to play in maintaining cohesion between the often friction-filled product and commercial sides of a business, building strong relationships with the product and engineering teams you work with, to unite, promote and support the wider team to operate in a truly cross-functional environment.
