Global Corporate Services Overview: The Global Corporate Services (GCS) team at Blackstone services all offices and lines of businesses across the firm. The team delivers services associated with Facilities, Office Services, Construction, Real Estate, Print, Publishing, Records, Research, Expense Management, Corporate Cards, Corporate Travel & Expense, Internal Events Management, Dining Services, Business Continuity and Physical Security. We are seeking a full-time employee to join the team in our London office as a Vice President. This position will report to the Head of Global Corporate Services based in New York. Position Objective: Manage all aspects of Corporate Services & Operations for EU Job Responsibilities: * Oversee all operations related to managing 4 offices (London, Dublin, Luxembourg, Paris) in the EU region including but not limited to Facilities,, Dining and Panty Services, Internal Meeting/Events Management, , Corporate Travel & Expense, Corporate Cards, Physical Security, Business Continuity, Office Services, and all related vendors. * Manage Travel Management Companies to ensure SLA's are met and travelers are receiving best in class service. * Coordinate annual Travel Fair and train new and existing employees on Blackstone's travel and business expense policies. Management of third party facilities management vendors, maintenance, vendor management, landlord/building management relationship management, space planning, project management, office construction, lease negotiations, intra-office moves, and cycle maintenance. Partner with Global Travel & Expense Manager, Global Head of Facilities & Real Estate as well as Global Facilities Manager as needed. * Oversee Program Administration for firm's corporate card program within EU ensuring card accounts are opened and closed as needed and providing necessary support to cardholders and administrative assistants as needed. Partner with card provider as needed to ensure program is functioning optimally. * Oversee System Administration and support for firm's Travel and Entertainment Expense platform including training, workflow management, end user support and integration with upstream and downstream systems. * Coordinate Business Continuity Planning & Physical Security activities within EU in conjunction with Global Head of Physical Security. * Partner with each line of business and Events Management team to plan and execute internal events within EU. * Lead vendor management efforts for GCS vendors within EU including measurement of performance vs. SLA's, RFP's, and contract negotiation. * Prepare and analyze operational metrics for EU with respect to GCS offices, services, and vendors. * Prepare annual budgets and strategic plan for EU with respect to GCS. Work closely with senior management to manage department budgets and costs, including monthly reviews, savings tracking, and forecasting * Oversee Hospitality services including dining & pantry service functions within each office including management of outsourced service provider. Oversee conference room management, and serve as local administrator for conference room booking tool. * Ability to work closely with regional business leadership, drive consensus and work with all levels. * Ability to work in a team environment. * Coordinate with all departments to assist with the development and implementation of firm-wide policies and procedures relating to firm's office operations. * Work with businesses to assess service needs by business group, create a support structure and drive firm-wide initiatives. * Partner with corporate services management to develop and execute strategic business plan and department initiatives in line with firm's overall objectives and growth. * Facilitate recurring meetings with groups as appropriate; develop mentorship opportunities and team-building activities. * Maintain excellent relationships with vendors to ensure the highest level of service for the firm * Cultivate a network of peers in order to stay current on industry standards and benchmark firm processes. * Assist the Global Head of Corporate Services and other senior members of the department and firm on an ongoing basis with ad hoc projects. * Perform additional ad-hoc tasks and initiatives as needed.
