Your responsibilities: Acting as deputy for the UK Medical Director, to provide direct line and matrix leadership within the Medical Affairs Team, for the benefit of patients, HCPs and the business Be key UK contact for the Specialty and Primary Care business units to above country teams and to lead strategic development and delivery of plans within the cross-functional brand teams within these business units. Lead and co-ordinate medical affairs resource, as appropriate, across the business units. Accountable for developing and driving the Medical plan and leveraging clinical/scientific data to optimise the delivery of Sandoz UK integrated brand plans. The position has a high degree of impact on the business results and has responsibility for leading a group of professionals. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leads the medical group within the Specialty and Primary Care business units Team for the delivery of relevant strategic and Medical plans. Provides medical leadership to the team and for all related activities. Act as a Scientific / Medical Leader, ensuring direction, development and support to direct reports and more widely: leading on the design and delivery of TA plans and of Sandoz culture and vision Copy approval / Professional Policy and Practice (P3) and Ethical Compliance. Operates with integrity and proactively serves as am ambassador internally and for Sandoz UK externally Provide ethical leadership to ensure ABPI Code of Practice and P3 requirements are fully met and adhered to. Innovation: ability to problem solve through increasingly challenging issues. Collaboration: effective across multi-team, multi-function and multi-national interfaces. Leadership: amongst peer-group, across the business and with HCPs. Possesses strong judgement, planning and organisational skills - demonstrates a strong sense of urgency. Possesses excellent written and spoken communication skills * Capable of coaching and mentoring medical colleagues within and across the business unit areas. Demonstrated experience of representing the country organisation at Regional and/or Global meetings. Position Title: Medical Affairs Manager Minimum requirements: What you'll bring to the role: Medically qualified and GMC registered Physician, preferably with higher medical qualification or Pharmacist.
