Data Engineer at Checkout.com : ProcessOut is a payments performance start up recently acquired by Checkout.com, joining forces ready to double down on performance in the market. Combined together, the two companies see hundreds of millions of data points from all over the world from various providers and payment methods. To do this, the ProcessOut team is hiring an ambitious Data Engineer with a strong software engineering background, who has a passion for problem solving. You will be the first official Data Engineer to join this team, and have a heavy influence on how systems are built. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering core products around monitoring and routing payments. You will be able to design these products from the database to the application itself, and so you must have a strong intuition around data and how it interacts best with its applications. You are building an infrastructure and applications that will allow Checkout.com to surpass the needs of our customers in terms of performance. You will be working closely with Product Managers and Data Scientists to provide the necessary research, models and delivery that will come together as the final products. About You: * Extensive experience in Go * Experience with SQL, ElasticSearch, Postgres and DynamoDB * Knowledge and experience of Kubernetes, CI/CD Systems and Kafka/Kinesis * A self starter with an ability to work autonomouslySpirited team player and excellent communication skills * Creative problem solving and an ability to innovate solutions * Understanding performance and designing systems handling many transactions per second * Don't meet all the requirements?
