Project manager to deliver key projects in 2020 and 2021 for Legal and Compliance Data Protection projects.T he management of all projects to ensure all aspects are delivered on time, budget and brief Job Title: Project Manager Job Description: Dentsu Aegis Network is looking for a contract Project Manager to join our Global Data Privacy and Data Governance Programme, led from London. The Project Manager will be involved in the end to end delivery of some of the company's key global projects, with personal responsibility for planning and delivery of the project's goals and objectives. You should have a fundamental understanding of data privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA. The role also extends to developing as an SME for Dentsu data privacy technology systems as majority of projects will be delivered onto this system. As a Project Manager you will be managed and guided and accountable to the Programme Director alongside all key Stakeholders. This is a global role and with Dentsu having a presence in over 140 markets the project manager should expect to work on projects with stakeholders across the company. You would need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff at all levels. Role Responsibilities: * Working closely with senior project manager and stakeholders to develop robust deployment and communications plans * Ensure that consistent and meaningful metrics are developed and disseminated to measure progress * Resolve blockers and issues where possible and escalate in a timely manner when not * Managing stakeholders to collect and maintain enterprise inventories * Developing expertise and specialism and product ownership for Dentsu privacy technology (OneTrust). * Working closely with the vendor to ensure that Dentsu's requirements are established within the future product road map * Becoming an advocate for Dentsu data privacy systems Who we are looking for: * Experience in medium-large cross-regional companies preferable * Delivery of projects according to agreed methodologies and processes * Process design, requirements documentation * Project Plans: Create, maintain, track, update and report * Management of RAIDs, reporting and communication * Familiarity with data governance principles and experience in delivery of data related projects (DWH and BI) would be preferred * Data privacy project delivery also preferred but not essential * Strong demonstrable experience in supporting or delivering GDPR readiness programmes * Strong understanding and practical application of Data Protection laws and regulations * Expert understanding of the privacy landscape and demonstrable experience in leading the development, delivery and management of data protection and GDPR policies, procedures and processes * Strong relevant experience in software development, professional services, solution engineering, technical consulting; with expertise in architecting and rolling out new technology and solution initiatives * Experience guiding the implementation of enterprise software within medium-large cross-regional companies * Proven ability to engage across corporate functions * A team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings or host training sessions and webinars. * Strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities * Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and gain consensus with partners up to senior management level Technical skills: * In depth knowledge of MS Project - Mandatory * JIRA experience - preferable * Power BI/Tableau - preferable * MS Visio experience - preferable * Strong MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint * Knowledge of relational databases and dataflows -- preferable * Understanding of data privacy laws in Europe and Globally - CIPPE preferable * Broad knowledge of data governance principles What you'll get from us Dentsu Aegis Network is a fantastic place to work with many great benefits on offer including 25 days' annual holiday, Pension, Cycle to Work Scheme, and get your Birthday day off!
