Overview of Role Working within the payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the UK and International payrolls Responsibilities * Responsible for ensuring the payroll team meet all internal and external deadlines * Developing and maintaining a good working relationship with the outsourced payroll provider * Completion and delivery of the monthly payroll instructions to the outsourced payroll providers * Responsible for ensuring a high-level reconciliation of the Payroll output reports. * Providing a high-quality service to internal and external payroll customers such as Employees, HR, Compensation and Benefits, Pensions and benefit providers. * Be a key player in any payroll projects, improvements and implementations. * Work with the Payroll Manager to put in place controls and frameworks to mitigate risk. Experience, Skills and Competencies Required * Must have a wealth of experience and exposure in UK payrolls and other EMEA locations (Switzerland preferable) * Experience of developing positive relationships with outsource payroll providers * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel ( V Look ups, Pivot tables) * Excellent numeracy skills * Excellent communication skills * Business partner skills with stakeholders and vendors * Must have management/supervisory experience and ideally developed teams. * Proactive and self-motivated * Strong analytical skills/critical thinking.
