Please note this is an INTERNAL VACANCY ONLY therefore only current employees of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust will be considered for the post. A vacancy has arisen for a Band 4 Waiting List Co-ordinator to work 37.5 hours per week within Elective Orthopaedic department based at the City Hospital Campus, Hucknall Road, Nottingham. This position is offered on a permanent contract. We require an enthusiastic and conscientious team player with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will provide a high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Consultants and their teams in managing their waiting lists of patients. You will have an excellent telephone manner and be confident in speaking to patients and a wide range of health care professionals. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues and be well motivated and reliable. You will also be able to prioritise workloads, use your own initiative and respond to queries within and outside of the organisation with a professional manner. Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers. I understand this is an automated process and the information will only be used for these purposes prior to me taking up the position at NUH. * Disclosure and Barring Service: Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incur a cost dependent on the level of check required (49 for enhanced and 31 for standard). I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if it is required (by deduction from first month's pay).
