Job Description

The Global People Data & Analytics Specialist will help to deliver the Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) people analytics strategy by driving insight for our business through analytics and report creation, supporting on key projects such as focused POCs and project manage our data warehouse solution (with our technology team). This role will give you the opportunity to design and create the data environment that will be critical to the reporting and statistical analysis that will be done by you and the wider team. It will also allow you to work with senior people on some key business insight projects. The role reports into the Global Director People Data & Analytics and will be part of a team that look after global requirements, including the regional hubs which will also require support. The role will require you to work collaboratively across the business and functions globally starting with your colleagues within the Global People Analytics team as well as different stakeholders such as IT, HR, Finance, Global Client, and the Data Protection Officer. Job Title: Global People Data Specialist Job Description: Role Responsibility * Manipulate and build models to support People analytics projects and insight generation * Create and design global reporting using technology such as Tableau and/or Power BI * Build strong knowledge of the DAN business, its technology and data sources * Work closely with the Chief Data Officer and Legal to ensure security and compliance is at the forefront of any build, analysis and data shared * Being an active member of the Global People Analytics team and community helping and supporting regional markets with local needs * Project manage the design and build of the cloud based warehouse consolidating key data for use in People Analytics projects and reporting * Driving the improvement and rigor of people data which will include ensuring security and governance * Working closely with the HR Information Systems (HRIS) team, Finance, IT and other data providers to support improved data collaboration, awareness and operational effectiveness * Ensuring the accuracy, integrity and consistency of people data in our core HR Systems (Workday and Glint) as a key part of driving influence through data-driven recommendations * Support the preparation, analysis and presentation of people metrics for review by the Global Data and Analytics Director and other key HR and business stakeholders * Helping to identify the latest trends and tools in data and analytics in the market to develop innovative and scalable solutions for DAN Candidate Experience * Proven analytics and data manipulation skills * Has a passion for data and analytics * Experience using Tableau and/or Power BI * Willing to learn and challenge themselves * Ability to deliver insight from data by exploring (through R/SPSS/etc), visualising (through Tableau/PowerBI/Qlik/etc) and story telling * Delivering a project with multiple stakeholders. This may be around Workforce planning, MDM or data warehousing Desirable: * Understands data wrangling tools such as Knime, Alteryx or similar technologies * SQL skills * Experience using HRIS systems such as Workday * Previous HR knowledge or experience * Have built and maintained databases supporting data from multiple sources * Have statistical experience * Awareness and experience of applying governance and rigor to data - understanding of GDPR * Experience using tools such as SSRS, SQL Server, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Azure SQL DB * Have data warehouse / BI architect experience in setting up and running and maintaining data warehouses * Experience of Microsoft Azure technology What you'll get from us Dentsu Aegis Network is a fantastic place to work with many great benefits on offer including 25 days' annual holiday, Pension, Cycle to Work Scheme, and get your Birthday day off!
