Role: Performance Manager Grade: Band E Lower Salary: 41,739 - 45,909 Closing Date: 26 June 2020 About the role: Are you passionate about driving and supporting cultural change in large organisations? Are you experienced in developing, implementing and really embedding a performance management culture and framework? Are you able to influence leaders at all levels? Most importantly, do you want to join us in making a real difference to policing in the West Midlands? If your answer is yes then you will be interested in finding out more about the Performance Manager role at West Midlands Police, a role which sits within the People and Organisation Development Department. You will be working for the new Head of Talent and Organisational Effectiveness, which we are currently recruiting for. You will be joining us at an exciting time, as we have recently restructured to ensure that we are driving cultural change, talent and performance management as key enablers to delivering our new strategy, 'This work matters' (which you'll find out more about once you're appointed). We recently launched a new performance management framework to leaders at all levels in the organisation, and we now need someone who will own, develop, drive and help embed this at all levels. About the person: We are looking for someone with previous experience of developing, implementing and embedding performance management frameworks and initiatives. You will be a successful, credible and established HR Professional with effective consulting and facilitation skills and a strong underpinning knowledge in Organisational Development to support your practice. You will have a strategic mind set and able to work creatively and collaboratively to really help us embed a performance management culture at West Midlands Police.
