About the team The delivery team is a new team of 10 highly motivated delivery and supplier management professionals. We support the delivery of publishing programmes across the whole of Pearson's UK Learning Services department. The products the Learning Services division produces range from textbooks to interactive digital content and support UK schools and colleges and international schools across a wide range of subjects including primary literacy, modern foreign languages, maths, science, and vocational subjects, such as BTEC Health & Social Care. We are a very busy department with lots of exciting challenges and opportunities to develop and to make changes. We are a team of highly engaged individuals, passionate about delivering high quality educational resources to schools and colleges to support teachers and students in getting the best outcomes possible. About the role The Content Delivery Manager / Project Manager role is varied and fast paced. It has responsibility for getting our products to market quickly, efficiently, and on budget. The role works closely with the content teams (editors and publishers) and external suppliers (providing editorial, design and digital services), and acts as a facilitator and driver of the projects. As well as the day-to-day driving of projects, as a new team, we are still in the process of establishing standardised ways of working both within the team and across the division. So, there are exciting opportunities to build new processes and to establish best practice for the department and division around areas such as budget tracking, scheduling, supplier management and documentation.
