Job Summary Job Title: Support Worker (Female Only) Location: Peterborough Contract: Full time, part time & Relief Hours: Up to 39 hours per week Salary: 9.01 per hour Contact: Jane Bickmore Contact Details: 07736743705 Information : *Female only qualifies under Paragraph 1, Schedule 9 of the Equality Act. For this role, drivers are essential. You will need to be flexible and able to work various shift patterns including early and late shifts, long days, awake nights as well as sleep-ins for which additional payments will be made. Being a support worker at Thera is all about improving people's quality of life and helping them to be in control of their life, meeting their goals and aspirations. We are looking for full time, part time & relief Support Workers to join our existing teams that work in a variety of locations in Peterborough . The role will be varied, and not only will you become a positive role model in their lives, you will be supporting people with many aspects of daily living such as shopping, preparing meals, housework and support with personal care. Never considered support work before? Dont worry everyone has transferable skills. The important factor is that you have the right value base, that you see and treat everyone as an individual, with dignity and respect, acknowledging they have the same rights as everyone else. The role is very rewarding, however as you would naturally expect there are some difficult and challenging situations. You need to be the sort of person that can take things in their stride, remaining calm and confident.
