Contract : Part Time, Permanent Hours : 37 hours per week, 45 weeks (term time plus one week) Salary : TD14 - £16,741.73 per annum (FTE £19,346) Closing date : Monday 22nd June 2020 at midday Start : 3rd September 2020 About the Trust The Trust is a charitable organisation dedicated to raising educational outcomes across a range of primary and secondary phase schools and academies in the East Midlands. They want to continue to build upon their excellent value added scores within the sixth form and, ultimately, assist the students in their care to become mature, independent and responsible learners. The Job The Trust is looking to appoint a Sixth Form Study Support Officer who is committed to ensuring students meet the Academy expectations on a daily basis. You will be required to challenge behaviour, noise and attitude within the study environment, to maintain a positive environment/atmosphere for learning at all times. This role would ideally suit someone who has high expectations for students, is firm and fair in their approach and has the confidence to challenge students when required. The successful candidate will support Sixth Form students in their learning, ensuring that all students area able to plan, organise and make the best use of their non-contact time, while monitoring student wellbeing.
