About Client Engagement The team are responsible for managing frontline relationships across all our clients. From supporting users on how to maximise the value they get from the product, to pro-actively engaging with clients to help secure renewals, upticks and expanding the Dealogic footprint. The group works the breath of the investment banking space (M&A, ECM, Fixed Income and Coverage and Strategy teams). The Client Manager is a market and product expert with a thorough understanding of the capital markets, with the aim of securing/renewing long term contracts. The Client Engagement Manager should be customer value focused, ensuring clients get the maximum value from the products they subscribe to. They need to be comfortable and capable of navigating through the bank interacting with both junior users and senior bankers to embed Dealogic as an essential part of the client's workflow. They should develop strong relationships across their clients to uncover issues and ensure clients are happy using the products. Responsibilities: Relationship and Account Management Maintain and grow usage at clients, working alongside the contract management team to ensure a successful renewal Onboard new products the client signs up to Work with the sales team to act as the client expert in ongoing opportunities Uncover revenue generating opportunities for the sales team to action Maintain and execute a client plan Study the client to understand strengths, weakness and opportunities, mapping out the organisation Study market trends, following key deals in the market and be able to talk to clients about these. Skills & Experience Education/Qualification - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in STEM related area Languages - Excellent standard of spoken and written English Strong work ethic Keen to learn Detail orientated Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team player who works collaboratively within the business Flexible with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise due to conflicting demands Determined in the face of objection Problem-solver with a focus on delivering results Customer focussed with a drive to develop and nurture relationships at a Senior level Strong influencing skills Proven capability to work on own initiative Comfortable working in a change environment with the ability to adapt to ambiguous situations Attention to detail with ability to analyse large data sets Required Experience Proven experience, typically more than four years, working in a client facing role Experience in proactively managing client relationships Experience of working with technology products Analysing problems and translating that into a solution in software applications Experience of presenting and pitching to senior level stakeholders, both internally andexternally Experience in proactively managing client relationships including the development of client plans Proven ability to understand external client's strategy An understanding of the banking and capital markets Proven track record of selling to existing clients Desired Experience Experience working in an investment bank An understanding of the banking and capital markets Experience using SQL, Python or other data science tools
