Job Description

The Ops Excellence Associate will have the responsibility of developing, agreeing and delivering high value HR change initiatives across multiple divisions within RELX Group. The projects will originate and drive service improvement within the HR function but have significant impact across the 30,000 individuals in RELX. The work will encompass the entire end to end change lifecycle from concept to realisation and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for enabling an excellent employee HR experience which drives the achievement of key business objectives and targets. The mandate for this position is to work with the people leadership team, senior business leaders and key HR/operational stakeholders to identify and enable improvement across the HR people, process, systems and third party landscape. The role is located in London, UK. The role will report to the Head of People Analytics and Operational Excellence. Key Accountabilities * Drives the execution of strategic projects and/or workstreams within them with strong analytical focus and understanding of the employee experience and journey. * Drives the problem solving process: frames problems, completes analytical modelling, and through analysis provides insights into solutions. Uses SMEs and gains buy in to potential solutions. * Leads and delivers process mapping, org design and operating model work as part of the creation and delivery of business cases into significant volumes of employees across the business. * Facilitates meetings and workshops with all the levels of the organization. * Effectively manages the outcomes driven by the project and is capable of steering the business in a new direction. * Develops and delivers a change management approach and plan for workstreams/project as appropriate. * Work within a direct and matrix project structure across multiple functions in the business providing regular guidance to business stakeholders to drive the project forward. * Build, maintain and foster successful relationships with key functional and operational teams at all levels up to c-suite across the business. Ideal profile * Significant experience in both business improvement (analysis, process, design, business case) and project/programme management including change management skillsets. * Strong influencing skills with proven experience in developing strong relationships and in successfully interfacing and negotiating with all organizational levels. * Strong stakeholder management skills - ability to manage key business leaders up to c-suite level. * Excellent attention to detail. * Outstanding communication skills - written and verbal at the most senior level. * Collaborative decision-making and work style and strongly results-driven. * Extraordinary integrity. * Excellent business acumen and commercial focus. * Experience in shared service centre design and/or other HR/people or similar transformation programmes is a bonus but not required.
