Job Description
SEO Manager 35,000 - 42,000 plus excellent benefits (Grade D17) Manchester city centre We're looking for an SEO manager to join our dynamic Co-op online team, which is part of Co-op Digital. We're constantly creating new products, services and platforms that pioneer new ways to co-operate online. The online team support all of the websites across our Co-op estate and make sure they are coherent and fully optimised for our different audiences. As an SEO manager it'll be up to you to improve SEO performance and drive more traffic to our websites. You'll use various tools, including Google Analytics, to manage the sites performance and track this daily, spotting opportunities and making recommendations that overall improve the customer journey. We'll look to you to build strong relationships with our internal leaders and external suppliers, and use in-depth research to craft your own SEO plan. This is an exciting role which comes with a real opportunity to make a difference to the way we do business for our customers, colleagues and members. What you'll do use Google Analytics and various other tools to track and manage the performance of our different websites use data gathered to spot opportunities and make recommendations for improvements build relationships and work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external partners work with digital analysts to gather insights to share with internal partners run daily and weekly reports to track searches and site traffic create and manage a 3-month SEO plan roadmap identifying goals and how to achieve them manage conflicting priorities from different business areas, making sure we have the right content optimised at the right time This role would suit people who have experience working in an SEO role previously the ability to use Google Analytics to make recommendations on optimising content basic HTML knowledge and experience a good analytical ability, able to use data and produce insights for the business great understanding of how people search online and keyword research experience using associated keyword research tools (e.g. Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, AHrefs, Google Search Console, Deepcrawl) link building and technical SEO knowledge would be a bonus but it's not essential Why Co-op?
