Health Care Support Worker - Specialist Oncology Services
Overview
Job Description
We require a Health Care Support Worker to work in Ward B1 Specialist Oncology Services. You will work in a distinct role to support the delivery of clinical care by assisting in the maintenance of a clean, safe and attractive environment, conducive to patient care. You will also coordinate a range of ward services, including cleaning, catering, supplies, linen services, and general maintenance issues reporting and rectification. You will work closely with the Division's support service departments and Ward Managers and staff to ensure that national and local standards are met. Healthcare experience is desirable as this ward cares for patients with a cancer diagnosis who may be receiving or received chemotherapy, radiotherapy and associated treatments. You must be able to complete the relevant competency programmes. The ward operate 24/7.
