Overview
Job Description
Working for an NHS Trust we are looking for a motivated, multi-skilled technician who is reliable and enthusiastic. You would be responsible for the installation of new equipment and the efficient maintenance of all the machinery within the laundry, and the upkeep of the building fabric and services, to ensure the continuous production process is not interrupted and breakdowns are repaired promptly with minimum down time. You must hold an appropriate qualification such as BTEC/City and Guilds at the relevant level and have extensive experienced in a range of disciplines within industry including: - Mechanical Engineering: - Welding and grinding Fitting, Turning and fabrication Hydraulics Pneumatics Electrical Engineering: - Electronics Computer control systems PLC programming and debugging The successful Multi-skilled Technician will be working a twelve hour/seven-day shift pattern rotating over two weeks within the laundry. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
