So far we're proud of our achievements and we are are doing a great job disrupting the broadband industry but we are definitely not stopping here. Job purpose: Delivery Services is the team within the Information Technology function responsible for the analysis, development, testing, integration and strategic direction of all IT related projects within Community Fibre. It operates in a complex stakeholder environment with tight deadlines and a constantly changing agenda. This role will also be responsible for the tactical day-to-day aspects of discovery, validating, documenting and delivering business projects. The project management aspect will require this role to liaise with the Delivery Services Team Leader to plan, assign and oversee the successful delivery of projects. What you'll be doing: * Take part in the creation of the project, implementation and delivery. * Manage change control between development and production environments in relation to the systems and services within your care. * Develop and implement procedures and associated training/support plans for administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery for the systems in your care. * Provide guidance to junior members of the team. * To maintain appropriate records of time spent, actions taken and item status to facilitate management, future problem resolution and to keep users informed of progress. * To keep users up to date with progress and to liaise with colleagues and partners in an appropriate manner. To liaise with users regarding escalated issues and to agree appropriate courses of action and priorities. * Participate in the development of Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning. * To assist in other activities of within Information Technology function as directed. The experience we're looking for you to bring: * Experience in Project / Program Managing using leading methodologies (Agile / Prince 2). * Excellent knowledge of the computing industry. * Experience of Microsoft Technologies. * Excellent commercial awareness. * Project management skills. * Experience of working to and exceeding targets. * Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies. * Proven experience in commercial engagements, including contract negotiation, implementation and impact analysis. * Knowledge of ISO27001 security standard preferred but not essential. * ITIL qualified preferred but not essential.
