Job Description

Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service is committed to providing high quality care using an integrated model of care delivery. We require a health care support worker to be based within the North East Sector to provide specialist addiction care and treatment to individiuals within this geographical area. You will be responsible for the completion of delegated tasks within a defined geographical location. You will have excellent communication and time management skills and have a keen interest in Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services and demonstrate a non-judgemental attitude. Applications are welcomed from people with lived experience with sustained recovery. You will receive the training and development opportunites required to enable you to deliver a range of interventions pertinent to your role. It is desirable if you have an SVQ3/SCQF level 6 or working towards this but you should have working knowledge of health nursing care. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
