An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our innovative and supportive critical care team. The post holder will be involved in mainly clinical activity. There is a requirement for flexibility, adapting to situations as they arise as the workload is unpredictable. Patient priorities change constantly between the critical care areas. You will be expected to work using your own initiative with support as part of the team. Other duties involve ordering, stock rotation, topping up and cleaning. The post holder will be required to demonstrate empathy, sensitivity, support and reassurance when communicating with patients, relatives and staff, and be polite and courteous at all times. Previous experience in acute care is desirable. This is a permanent position, requiring flexible working patterns. We work 12.5 hour shifts.
