Company Description Finance is one of the last great stale service industries, and customers are suffering for it. Lendable is building a proper financial institution from scratch using our technology, agility and attitude! Our first product is offering personal loans we have built what we believe is the world's fastest consumer lending platform, powered by real-time, automated credit decisions and continuous risk pricing. To give you an idea, our relentless drive to automate and improve processes allows customers to apply for and receive their loan in an average of less than 10 minutes . Our second product will launch this year and we're planning on much more! We are well-funded, profitable, and grew fourfold last year. In the five years since we started we have lent over 850 million to UK consumers. Job Description The role: Lendable has disrupted the credit industry for five years, and in the process has become the UK's second largest online marketplace lender. In 2019 we were recognised as the sixth-fastest growing technology company in the UK by the Sunday Times. As we continue to expand we are looking for a skilled and motivated Collections Agent to work in our collections team of 4 people, which is a key area supporting the growth of our business. What you'll be doing: * Speaking to our customers over the phone who are having payment difficulties to help them get back on track with their payments. Other forms of customer communication includes SMS, email, live chat. * Handling challenging conversations with customers * Resilient by nature, you'll show sensitivity and courage to help find the best solutions for our customers to help get them back on track * Dealing with general administrative work within the operations team Qualifications What we're looking for: * People with experience in customer facing roles whether that be in sales, service or collections * The ability to deal with a variety of challenges, to innovate and think on your feet * Comfortable with negotiating and solving difficult issues * Strong communication skills and attention to details * A 'can do' attitude with the ability to adapt to changing role requirements * Great team player Additional Information What's Next: We're not a corporate so we try our best to get things moving as quickly as possible.
