Job Description

What's the role? You will be a Project Team Lead, supporting the Director of PMO with the daily management of the Project Organisation. You will fulfil a Player / Coach role, with your time split between Project Delivery and Leadership activities. It is important that you have significant experience in delivering successful projects within a Waterfall delivery framework, and that you are passionate about creating a collaborative and positive environment, benefitting both team members and New Signature customers. What you'll be doing Project Management; * Effectively managed client expectations and controlled scope, through excellent communications and strong project governance. * Customer meetings/workshops facilitated, led and documented to a high standard - with communications targeted to audience. * Assertive change management principles applied; with a concept of transparency and the early identification/ communication of project changes. * Project and resource plans produced and maintained, with a focus on accuracy and the early identification of all required tasks and resources. Projects delivered in line with agreed timelines. * Excellent financial controls applied, with an emphasis on accuracy and driving profitability through efficiency and scope control. * Project status reported accurately, and RAID items proactively managed through to resolution. * Strong and trusted customer relationships built, through delivery excellence and accountability Leadership; * Consistency of process, quality levels and financial controls are adopted across the Project Management team. * Customer satisfaction is monitored and prioritised; team is supported and guided to excel where possible. * Regular one to ones are held with all reports, supporting, coaching and managing escalations where necessary. * Pre-sales support provided to ensure Statements of Work accurately articulate the project deliverables, with adequate financial cover for Project Management effort. * Recruitment activity results in strong hires, who are then onboarded successfully. * PMO Director is supported in continuous change and improvement initiatives, including their identification, roll-out and adoption. Who we're looking for * "Role model", responsible for developing and leading a team of Project Managers. * Agile SME, providing guidance, coaching, and quality feedback to Project Managers. * Strong focus on financial controls; with the ability to review a Project's financials, identify potential issues and work with the Project Manager to put mitigation steps in place. * Able to receive assignments in different formats. * Ability to lead and implement change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and adoption. * Passionate about developing both oneself, and others. * Has a vested interest in growth and excellence. * Promotes and works towards a consistent and positive experience for our customers. * Innovative; identifies challenge areas and seeks to improve in a collaborative way. * Seeks to reinvent - embraces the continuous improvement journey. * Is fully accountable for own work and/or project/supervisory responsibilities. * Can identify an opportunity to increase/upsell the project. * Understands the sales process and can assist the smooth transition from order to project delivery. * Has a good appreciation of both core and surrounding technologies
