Job Description
. If you do not have a current PIN number you will not be shortlisted, please do not apply for this Registered Nurse Vacancy As part of a multi-disciplinary team within the context of a Perinatal Mental Health Team covering Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. You will have responsibility for the specialist assessment of patient care needs and the development and evaluation of programmes of care during pregnancy and the first year postnatally. You will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care in partnership with patients, carers and other professionals and in line with agreed standards and clinical policies. In the absence of Nurse Team Leader/Charge Nurse, taking charge of the team and participating in the supervision and teaching of junior staff, both qualified and unqualified will be an important aspect of the role as will be the mentoring of nurses undergoing basic or post-basic training. It is essential you are a Registered in Mental Health Nurse with live NMC registration, you may be required to practice within outpatient clinics, patients homes and within a liaison role at maternity hospitals within Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
