Job Title Operational Change Risk Assessment Manager Location Glasgow Our Risk and Control teams continue to grow in Scotland and this is a newly created role to support the existing teams within Wholesale Onboarding and Financial Crime Operations. The role holder will be responsible for the management of the Change Risk and Control assessments across multiple sites globally covering multiple processes across the Wholesale Onboarding and Financial Crime Operations. The processes undertaken in these operations are heavily regulated meaning that Risk and Control management is of the utmost importance. What will you be doing? * Supporting the implementation and management of the internal control framework that promotes a strong self assessment culture, * Proving the effectiveness and robustness of the control environment and control culture through self testing, conformance review testing, * Identifying new and emerging risks and designing suitable yet commercial control environment to provide protection, * Responsible for identifying and reporting control issues and themes including supporting the Risk and Control team, * Responsible for the management of the annual risk assessment process for the operation, * Lead the co-ordination of Targeted reviews of processes and controls changes across the assigned business operation. What we're looking for: * The role holder must have experience in a Risk & Control function, preferably with a focus on wholesale onboarding or Financial Crime, * To have, or the ability to develop, a strong understanding of Financial Crime regulations and policies, * Strong knowledge of Operational Risk & Controls in a highly regulated business environment, * Practical knowledge of internal controls, including the development and maintenance of appropriate framework. Skills that will help you in the role: * Previously worked in an environment that has enabled a broad understanding of Financial Services/AML and Sanctions policies/KYC, * Will have strong Stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence others positively, * Be a motivated, high-performing individual with proven experience of working at one with other colleagues.
