About the role: Resource Management * Craft an efficient & effective roster system that allows improvement of productivity working within the HSSE/Working Time Directive regulations. * Lead any employee issues working with HR team. * Involvement in recruitment of airport operators, ensuring an appropriate induction and training program. * Keep a close working relationship with the team identifying and resolving any potential employee relationship issues. Health, Safety, Security & Environment * Ensure compliance with HSSE standards, programs and all relevant statutory requirements including Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations. Product Quality * Ensure products distributed, via Fuellers are in accordance with Air BP quality requirements. * Check all relevant quality control (QC) records (on Fuellers) and ensure that they are filled in accurately. * Conduct daily, weekly & month-end reconciliation checks of products to supervise losses & gains on fuellers. Administration * Ensure all appropriate month -end processing is completed in a timely manner, including the Status Report * Analyse monthly operating expenses to identify abnormal deviations from plan Technical * Communicate design deficiencies/operational problems to the UK/France Operations Manager * Liaise with accredited (approved) contractors to resolve any technical issues Training * Plan training schedule (Air BP Training System/local and statutory required training i.e. first aid, firefighting, spill response, etc.) * Identify any new training requirements * Ensure all accredited contractors who work on the fixed and mobile fleet are accurately inducted * Prepare and plan regular emergency response training sessions/exercises for all staff. This may be carried out in conjunction with other Airport operations Maintenance * Handle the planned maintenance program for the fixed and mobile fleet using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) * Address all emergency repair requirements to minimise fixed and mobile fleet downtime & ensure equipment can be operated in a safe manner * Lead accredited contractors who perform various maintenance tasks on site * Periodic walk around of the Airport Depot to identify any defects with fixed and mobile equipment as well as the depot building * Manage non routine activity using air bp Control of Work procedures as an Issuing Authority About you: A technical qualification in engineering/science or another related field would be required for this role as well as experience in a similar role and mechanical aptitude. Knowledgable in equipment maintenance and aircraft refuelling and experience of budgets and accounting. Team leader with experience in people management and robust negotiation skills Experience in oil or a related industry in operations, engineering or terminals would be desirable but not crucial.
