Maintenance Engineer- Progression into Engineering Manager role available within 3 years Salary: £34,000 - £35,000 + Overtime Location: Rayleigh, Essex We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias and aspirations to move into management to work for a large FMCG company based in Rayleigh, Essex. The current Engineering Manager is looking to retire within 3 years and is looking to bring in some fresh blood in the form of an electrically biased maintenance engineer who has the potential to move into his position. The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with the Engineering manager as he shows you the ropes and will develop your leadership skills. Whilst there are already a team of maintenance engineers, most of them are also coming towards the end of their career so are not looking to take the step up. Day to day the maintenance engineer will work a Mon-Fri double day shift pattern that involves no nights or weekends and will be responsible for site breakdowns and a robust PPM system on all of the production equipment.
