Job Description

Maintenance Technician/Engineer Southend-on-Sea £28,000 to £32,000 DOE + Overtime Opportunities (£42,000 Realistic OTE) + Holidays + Company Vehicle + Training and Development Opportunities. Monday to Friday DAYS Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established company who have secured a site based contract in line with ongoing success. They offer the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology within their industry and provide extensive training and development on their specific machinery. The role would suit engineers who have good electro-mechanical skills. Applicants who have any IT/computer software skills will also have a considerable advantage. Engineers transferring from a field service role, manufacturing setting or ex forces are welcome to apply. Initially the role will be site based in Southend on Sea carrying out reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a range of complex industrial print machines. Full manufacturer training will be provided. The contract has been secured for a minimum of 2 years on site, with potential for it to be extended. Otherwise, you will join the rest of the team in a field service capacity. Electrically, you will work on 3 phase equipment, motors, and some network servers/software related issues.
