Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen to lead our Medicines Safety and Governance agenda across the Trust. The post holder may be based at either Callington Road Hospital, Bristol or the Pharmacy Hub in Calne, Wiltshire. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and clinically confident pharmacist and welcome interest and applications from experienced and forward-looking pharmacists passionate about medicines optimisation and medicines safety, who are seeking a leadership role. The post holder will work closely with clinically based pharmacists and technicians, the Patient Safety team, and nursing and medical staff in both inpatient and community settings. The AWP pharmacy service employs approximately 45 staff and we are investing in our clinical pharmacy services. There is plenty of in-house support and cross-locality working with experienced mental health pharmacists and medicines management technicians. The role includes a clinical session to maintain clinical competence in mental health.
