Job Description
Progress your midwifery career at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. With five world-renowned hospitals, we are full of opportunity for midwives who are looking for progression to develop new skills, get involved in quality improvement and collaborate with leading midwifery teams. We have nationally recognised perinatal mental health, bereavement and caseloading midwifery services. You will receive training for the new born and infant physical examination (NIPE), or tap into the developmental benefits of a mentorship course and you can chose to do leadership and management programmes. Join us and be a part of a successful team who are nationwide leaders of maternity services. We are also deliverers of the Better Births project to develop the National Maternity Review's recommendations to improve continuity of care. We can offer you a variety of hospital-based rotations to build your expertise in the following: antenatal, both clinics and wards postnatal care in hospital and the community labour care in our birth centres, labour wards and at home maternity triage and day assessment areas midwifery case loading teams Future progression opportunities for you include working in our innovative and welcoming birth centres where we pride ourselves in delivering safe, high quality and respectful care for mothers and their babies. You can also liaise with our well established local community teams and working with our award winning case loading midwifery teams who offer home birth care to mothers with complex needs.
