Job Description

** Fixed term contract / secondment opportunity for 2 Years ** The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUHFT) Digital Health Department is responsible for the delivery of all IT systems and services required across the Trust to support its clinical and administrative obligations. The systems and services are provided for the Trust's 10000 plus users across the main hospital site, Cromer Hospital, and outlying sites and include: A modern and up to date IT infrastructure to support the delivery of all IT and telephony applications to Trust users. The delivery of critical clinical applications such as the patient administration system (PAS), Theatres, Laboratory Information, Radiology, Radiotherapy etc. The provision of key administrative systems such as the financial management applications, payroll, electronic staff record, email and document production and general office support systems. The Digital Health Department aims to provide the highest degree of IT services and support to Trust staff and the Trust's partners and commissioners. These services aim to help ensure that the best patient care is always available and that staff productivity is maintained at the highest level.As Development and Integration Manager you are expected to be a key part of our transformation journey away from traditional IT Services, towards our vision of delivering the future of digital care. You will achieve this by leading and developing the Development and Integration Team to deliver Digital Health's six strategic objectives; digitally empowered people, digitally enabled workforce, integration and collaboration, informatics, innovation and a digitally enabling infrastructure. As post holder you will act as the Trust's technical authority within the sphere of Development and Integration you are expected to lead and direct development and integration projects, working with Digital Health colleagues and utilising resources in an efficient manner to ensure their timely completion in pursuit of our vision. You will be responsible for the development and management of the various policies and procedures in place that relate to development and integration and ensuring they are in line with best practice and mandatory requirements (incl Change Control, Release Management, Clinical assessment). As post holder you must have a full clean driving licence and be prepared to travel to Trust sites when required.
