Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled) Redruth, Cornwall Competitive Salary Discussed on Application + Full Benefits Package Double Days shift pattern 06:00 - 14:30 and 14:00 - 22:30 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, rising by 1 day per 2 years served to a maximum of 32 Days Holiday + Contributory Pension Scheme + Life Cover + Healthcare Package Maintenance Engineer required for a successful, global manufacturer who offer comprehensive inhouse training and development, a great benefits package, and long-term job security set in a sought-after Cornwall location. The role will suit applicants from ANY multi skilled maintenance/engineering background. Applicants with experience within a manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage however, engineers who are competent mechanically and electrically from ANY industrial environment will be considered. Ex forces candidates are also encouraged to apply. Applicants with a desire to relocate to the South West will also be considered. You will form part of a 5-man maintenance engineering team covering all electrical, mechanical and automation/PLC related maintenance and repair across a specialised plastic injection moulding and robotic based manufacturing facility. The role will have a bias towards a structured planned preventative maintenance schedule whilst providing reactive breakdown cover on a broad range of plastic injection moulding machines ranging from 110 to 1500 tonne machines, around 30 in total across all lines. There will be specific engineering projects the full team will also paly apart in. The facility employs around 120 employees at the Redruth facility and is part of a 1.5 Billion Dollar global manufacturing group. The Role: * Multiskilled, maintenance engineering role with a plastic injection moulding and robotics-based environment. * Work to a set PPM schedule daily reporting into the maintenance team lead and providing reactive breakdown cover as required on shift. * Involvement in engineering projects * Working on a double days weekly rotating shift pattern. The Person Required: * Multi Skilled engineer from any manufacturing, engineering or skilled ex-forces engineering background. * Knowledge of PLC/robotics/plastic injection moulding machinery advantageous but training provided for the right person as required.
