Job Description

Mattress Library Support Worker - Dynamic Pressure Mattress Library A vacancy has arisen for a Support Worker in the Mattress Library facility. The Mattress Library falls under the responsibility of Clinical Engineering which provides Medical Device Management services across the Trust. The role of Mattress Library Support Worker is a vital role within the Trust and will involve responsibility for the whole process of: 1) Decontamination and cleaning. 2) Collection of pressure relieving mattress systems from wards. 3) Testing, trouble shooting and calibration of mattress systems. 4) Packing and delivery of mattress systems to wards / clinical areas. 5) Managing mattress requests and tracking data. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, relevant technical aptitude, good team working skills and the ability to blend in well with the existing team, basic IT knowledge to using standard software packages and a commitment to provide a first class service in the interests of patients.
