Service Coordinator Tamworth c£25k (increasing after probation period) neg dep exp + benefits Our client has been established for more than 40 years and specialise in the planned preventative and reactive maintenance, service and repair of an exhaustive range of special purpose waste processing machinery to clients throughout the UK, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an organised and self-motivated Field Service Coordinator to complement their established and professional team. Core responsibilities for this Tamworth based varied and challenging Service Coordinator role will include (but not be limited to): * Planning and coordinating routine machine servicing at client sites UK wide. * Handling customer machine breakdown calls and providing the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction * Planning and coordinating the activities of engineers attending breakdown, servicing and installation works on both a proactive and reactive basis. * Liaising closely with the field service engineers and customers to ensure everyone is aware of all requirements and any changes are communicated as they may arise for optimal breakdown support. * Arranging and coordinating the activities of the transport companies responsible for the delivery and collection of machines to and from customer sites * Raising sales invoices for services/breakdowns and processing orders of the sales of machines and service contracts. * Prioritising jobs in the Workshop in readiness for machines coming in or leaving to customer sites. * Inputting and updating job data on the in-house software (Protean) * Preparing routine management reports for directors In an environment where every day is different, the role will ideally suit an articulate, ambitious, well organised and customer-focussed individual who will excel in developing and maintaining good relationships with both customers and suppliers and combines the need for excellent communication and prioritising skills to ensure consistent levels of customer satisfaction are sustained, with experience ideally gained within a similar role in an engineering or manufacturing environment proving distinctly advantageous.
