Overview
Job Description
To meet our ambition of delivering an exciting and outstanding educational experience, we are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring lecturer with skills in Brickwork, Plastering and Health and Safety with a proven record of high success and a strong desire to encourage learners to reach their full potential. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies. The post holder will be required to teach on a range of Brickwork courses (up to and including Level 3). Applicants will need to demonstrate good working knowledge of Brickwork, Plastering, Health and Safety and the construction industry with the ability to deliver across multi trades if required. Knowledge of teaching using learning technologies and maths and English to construction learners is desirable. Our construction department is a thriving area in the college and we are looking for applicants who will work to develop and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or DTLLS or industry experienced applicants who are willing to undertake an appropriate teaching qualification.
