Job Description

Description: You will own GTM planning and delivery across the EG product portfolio. We are looking to disrupt the property sector by using the valuable news and analysis produced by our content teams as well as leveraging exciting marketing activities (campaigns, events, surveys, etc.) to drive interest in our product portfolio. You will provide product marketing expertise, developing your portfolio through strategic marketing, marketing planning and a critical evaluation of the impact of marketing activities. You will own lead generation and lead your team to drive commercial success. Key responsibilities: * As the Head of Portfolio Marketing, you will devise and implement a clear direction for this company's products * You will engage with cross-functional teams and build portfolio momentum in delivering timely and consistent launches, as well as driving EG's process across the portfolio range * You will build a strong partnership with the sales and product teams to ensure the portfolio strategy is executed in line with the marketing plan * Develop customer Insights and product positioning * Work with the analytics team to collect and interpret customers and prospects data and insights in order to deepen understanding of EG's customer and marketplace * You will manage a team who will rely on your guidance and support, as well as influence your peers to move projects through the organisation * Summarise deep buyer insights - based on customer research data and reports- and define how the product fits in users' workflow and adds value * Develop market intelligence and expertise on the commercial property industry, its buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria, including expertise on competition * Develop product positioning and messaging framework articulating key values and strengths, and differentiating from its competitors * Propose segmentation of audiences for strategic goals * Conduct market sizing & gap analysis to understand and advise on the biggest growth opportunities * Develop market segmentation & strategy * Develop comprehensive go to market strategy & plan outlining key objectives and activities * Define and monitor KPI's, measuring effectiveness of product marketing programmes, in collaboration with analytics team and aligned with business outcomes * Work closely with functional leaders to build go-to-market plans to support and grow the product offerings * Prioritise and align target audiences, developing effective storytelling and value propositions * Ensure go-to-market strategies are aligned with the business wider objectives and all relevant stakeholder groups * Write, develop and create marketing assets that excite and interest clients and prospects - as well as support sales knowledge transfer * You will inspire and guide your team to creating assets that drive commercial success * Communicate customer centric value proposition to commercial teams * Develop necessary go to market messages that support the selling process Experience required: * Numerical and analytical mindset to support market / customer research and analysis * Expertise in developing customer-centric value proposition and messaging framework * Ability to manage senior leadership and strategic customers across the c-suite * Management experience with measurable results * Ability to successfully collaborate and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams * Strong communication skills to efficiently articulate and communicate on objectives internally * Solid project management, planning and organisational skills * Results-driven * Demonstrable first-hand experience in building or actively contributing to go-to-market strategies * Ability to demonstrate customer-centric approach in go-to-market strategies or product launches * Strong stakeholder management with cross functional teams and track record of efficient internal communication * Experience producing sales enablement material for B2B offerings and contribution to training * A background in strategic portfolio marketing * Excellent written and oral communications Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer We are an equal opportunity employer: qualified applicants are considered for and treated during employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, protected veteran status, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
