Job Description

Machine Operator Full-Time & Perm Dungannon Area Salary Negotiable 6.30am - 4pm Monday - Friday Company A significant player in the agri-food sector to major retailers in Northern Ireland and mainland UK. Job Perform duties as trained in a safe and efficient manner, e.g. switch on/off moba graders, remove and replace receivers, buffers and drop sets, calibrate moba graders, operate the computer system, maintain inkjet systems etc Adhere to health and safety, hygiene and quality procedures Accurately complete all associated administrative duties and checks within agreed procedures and timescales Achieve and maintain an awareness of supermarket ordering and documentation system Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant personnel including (but not limited to) Intake Manager, Back of line operatives, Denesters & QA 1st pack check operatives and appropriate Despatch & Packaging personnel to achieve production targets and to assist in the smooth running of the business Carry out back of the line and denesting duties when required Comply with all Company policies and procedures Contribute towards achieving and maintaining a positive working environment Promote good equal opportunities practice Criteria: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent numerical skills Excellent organisation and prioritising skills Meticulous approach to detail and record keeping Adaptability/proactivity and willingness to work on own initiative Possess the drive and determination to succeed in the role Be punctual and reliable Experience in a similar role is desirable.
