Job Description

Job Introduction To ensure Service to the line in terms of setting up equipment efficiently to meet production requirements. The machine minder will form part of the line crew and will adopt Production Operator duties as well as setting up equipment Role Responsibility * To ensure all company food safety policies are adhered to * Safe working environment * Accurate and timely completion of documentation * Ensure compliance of clean as you go/ good housekeeping * Ensure all High Risk Procedures are adhered to * Work and contribute to improving quality standards * Identify and inform Team Leader/supervisor/manager of equipment failure or issues * Follow up repairs or need for replacement parts to ensure the equipment is safe to use/ mark as faulty if required. Communicate actions with Team Leader/Supervisor/ Manager * Attend training courses and meetings as necessary to maintain standards * Provide cover in other area's in times of sickness or holidays when requested to do so by Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager. This may include working across the shift to cover the role on occasion * Comply with company policy and procedures * To attend any reasonable management request * Report and take necessary action for any incidents of fire, damage, loss or accidents * Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance and general cleanliness to comply with statutory and company regulations is maintained. Wear company uniform as specified * To wear PPE as appropriate to task and training * To report any incidences of absence promptly and in accordance to the company absence procedure * Replenish shadow boards * Work closely with the Team Leader in terms of compliance to plan and adhering to compliance and quality rules The Ideal Candidate Essential Product and quality focused Numeracy and literate skills Flexibility Team Player Self motivation Desirable Previous Experience About the Company Tillery Valley Foods Sodexo Apply
