Job Description
Project Manager Full-Time, London UK At Entia we want to transform the experience of living with life-changing health conditions. Our devices help people with cancer and anaemia manage and treat their conditions in the comfort of their own home - giving them the freedom to spend more time with family and loved ones. We've won many awards and grants for our work so far, including the AXA PPP Health Tech & You Award and over 5m of Innovate UK grants. Entia was also part of the Microsoft Accelerator and Roche's accelerator Startup Creasphere. We have sky-high ambitions and a pretty exciting growth plan, so we're looking for a passionate project manager to join our team. The role Operating across our products, you'll own the delivery of both hardware and software systems. Working with our two product managers, you'll be instrumental in keeping our projects on track, well-resourced and hitting milestones. You'll be a nexus of information between internal and third parties, from design and development to regulatory. You'll manage a critical path to get our products to launch, maintain timelines, dependencies and risks. As well as a birds-eye-view of project plans, your daily direction will help the team focus, prioritise and untangle blockers. As the eyes-and-ears of the projects, you'll ensure that key information is well communicated and documented. And you'll bring clarity and structure to our bustling, fast-moving innovation environment. Day-to-day, you'll work with a lively team of designers, engineers, product managers and researchers as we prototype, sketch, tinker, build, test and launch our products. Ultimately, you'll be helping to create products that will improve the lives of millions of people. Oh, and we have a cool lab. What you'll do: * Manage delivery across our projects. * Report directly to senior management. * Work with our Product Managers to develop timelines and critical paths from R&D to product launch. * Monitor timeline scenarios and knock-on effects of changes on interdependencies. * Plan team resources across design and engineering, working with our Head of Design and Head of Hardware. * Track tasks and milestones across the team, reporting progress to senior management. * Support the team with estimation and task planning. * Help manage relationships with some third-parties (e.g. suppliers, manufacturers, service providers). * Document and share key project information, like task lists, minutes and actions. We're looking for someone who: * Is as excited about healthcare as we are! * Is comfortable managing and delivering a programme of work or multiple project streams at once. * Has experience with physical product development and manufacturing projects. * Has experience operating in a quality management system. * Is able to balance tasks across multiple projects and prioritise effectively. * Has a flexible approach to project management, able to adjust methodologies and balance best practices from agile, lean and waterfall. * Keen to tackle the challenges of working in a high-uncertainty innovation environment. * Has excellent written and verbal English. * Has amazing organisational skills and attention to detail. * Is resourceful and has a hands-on approach to problem-solving. * Is a team player, happy to collaborate with others. * Can easily communicate with team members from a variety of backgrounds (technical, design, commercial, clinical) and is excellent at building relationships with a range of stakeholders. Ideally, you'd also have: * Experience in the healthcare sector or in medical devices (ISO 13485 regulated). * Experience working in a start-up environment.
