Job Description
Airband specialise in delivering innovative, cost effective solutions to communities that deserve better connectivity across England and Wales, turning some of the hardest to reach parts of the country into some of the best connected. We are excited to be currently opening up our sales department to pull together some talented, motivated individuals to help support the sales team. This exciting role will be pivotal in taking the order from the sales team, designing the solution for the customer and passing it to the engineers. You will need to be hard working, have a genuine interest in technology and be a team player with a can do attitude. An excellent customer manner will be essential as you will spend lots of time visiting potential clients. Responsibilities * To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution * Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes * Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally * Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners and internal stakeholders * Create internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations * Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products * Build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities * Perform technical development for bespoke solutions as part of a design and development frame work Requirements * Strong interest in Internet technologies (routing, switching and general network infrastructure) including technologies associated with the ISP market * Able to use own initiative * Good working knowledge of Windows and the Office Suite * Experience in document creation (with a bias towards technical document creation) * Qualification within a relevant field would be advantageous * Project management experience What is in it for you? * Competitive Salary * Commercial vehicle * 20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing too 22 days after the first year, and an extra day each year worked (up to 28) * 5% Airband pension plus minimum 3% employee contribution * Cycle to work scheme * Lots of opportunities for progression * A chance to be involved in Airband's exciting journey
