Job Description

Operations Executive The Operations Executive is responsible for the following areas and reports to the Operations Team Leader and/or Operations Manager. * Checking invoices and preparing supporting documentation * Managing flight allocations * Ensuring pre and post tour extensions have been confirmed * Creating and checking all Private Travel itineraries * Preparing and sending out confirmation invoices for all bookings * Monitoring deadlines to be met with airlines, ground handlers, clients and various other suppliers and ensuring everything is actioned accordingly * Sending rooming lists to local agents, hotels and ground handlers * Advising names to airlines including any special requests * Re-confirming all arrangements for tours * Preparing all clients' tour itineraries and travel documents, ensuring all flight tickets are issued and sent to clients to meet the required deadlines * Assist with data loading as and when required * Reception duties on a roster basis. * Collect and distribute the incoming post in the morning and prepare and send the outgoing post each afternoon * Assist with stock room duties such as restocking office supplies and unloading stock deliveries Required experience for Operations Executive * Minimum 2 years in travel (preferred) * Organised, accurate and methodical * Mature attitude to work * Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner * Experience of working within a team * Experience of dealing with the needs of different internal departments * Computer literate, thorough knowledge of Excel and Word * Experience of CRS (Galileo preferred) an advantage * Experience of travel overseas and knowledge of a range of destinations, especially Cox & Kings destinations, would be an advantage Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 + 7 Saturdays pro rata per calendar year to be worked included in salary Responsibilities: Operations Executive The Operations Executive is responsible for the following areas and reports to the Operations Team Leader and/or Operations Manager.
