Absolute Translations is growing rapidly and to support its growth we are looking for new members for our operations team in a dynamic, supportive and friendly environment in west London. We are looking for Project Managers at different stages of their career to work in different groups of our operations team and deliver translation projects to a diverse range of national and global clients. We currently have a new Project Manager position available for an experienced professional to join our fast-growing team. Responsibilities will include dealing with a portfolio of key clients as well as managing translation projects from quotation stage to final invoicing. What we are looking for is a hardworking individual with a positive "can-do" approach to assist us in delivering a customer-oriented service of high quality. Responsibilities * Co-ordinate the translation projects throughout all the phases of the customer cycle from customer enquiry to final project delivery * Analyse the customers' documents and assign to the most suitable supplier * Monitor and control projects status by updating our bespoke project management software at every stage of the project * Liaise with customer to clarify project parameters, assist with any queries or changes in the project scope * Perform quality checks at various stages of the process to ensure quality and accuracy * Negotiate deadlines and rates with existing and new suppliers * Manage project timelines and ensure on time delivery * Manage project finances, including budgeting and finalise project for invoicing * Comply with established processes * Train and mentor junior members of the team Essential Skills * A minimum of 1 year experience as a Project Manager or equivalent experience in an office environment * Multitasking and good time management * Flexibility to work independently, as part of a team but also under supervision * Customer focused, keen to exceed client expectations * Ability to tailor workflows according to client needs * Understanding of key financial principles * University degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies) or a degree in business administration * Proven knowledge and use of SDL Trados Studio or other CAT Tools. * Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with different file formats. * Detail orientated with the ability to multitask * Excellent problem solving, decision making and analytical skills * Communication, negotiation and organisation skills Desirable skills * Localisation engineering skills and knowledge * Customer service and sales skills/experience * Proficient knowledge of European languages To apply for this position, please fill out the application form.
