An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Audiologist with a special interest in Paediatric Audiology to join our busy and friendly Audiology department in Warwick. This would be a 12 month fixed term contact to cover maternity leave and would give the successful applicant an opportunity to build on and consolidate their Paediatric experience. This is a progressive, forward thinking department that needs new and dynamic staff to maintain progression and deliver the highest quality care. As a senior audiologist specialising in Paediatrics you will provide support to Children's Hearing Services including comprehensive Community Paediatric services based in Nuneaton and Rugby. The post will be based in Warwick Hospital with traveling required to other sites within North and South Warwickshire on a weekly basis. We provide the majority of paediatric assessments within our specialist audiological suite based at Woodloes Primary School in Warwick. We are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Audiologist with a desire to develop and enhance the service further. The successful candidate must be confident and able to work autonomously within the team & provide a clinical lead on Paediatric Audiology Assessment clinics. You will work as part of a multi disciplinary team providing a rehabilitative service for children diagnosed with hearing loss. You will have a BSc in Audiology (or equivalent) and will also be RCCP registered or equivalent. Experience with working in Paediatric Audiology is essential. Due to the nature of this service a car driver with a full current driving license is essential. For disabled applicants suitable alternative arrangements may be agreed, if necessary.
