ROYAL DEVON AND EXETER NHS FOUNDATION TRUST LOCUM CONSULTANT IN Paediatric TRAUMA and orthopaedic surgery Position to start AUGUST 2020 An opportunity has arisen for a twelve-month Locum Consultant in Paediatric Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. Applicants should be fully trained in general orthopaedics and trauma, with evidence of additional Fellowship level training in Paediatric Orthopaedics. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, who can provide high quality patient care who has experience at managing the spectrum of common paediatric orthopaedic conditions. The internationally-renowned Orthopaedic team provides a comprehensive range of routine elective orthopaedic surgery combined with a tertiary referral practice for disorders of the foot & ankle, spine, hip, knee, shoulder and hand and wrist surgery. The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of 360,000 people from NHS Devon. Applicants must be registered medical practitioners and either be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of completion of specialist training at the date of interview; you should provide evidence of this with your application.
