***NUH applicants only*** Specialty General Manager - Band 8a The newly established Ambulatory Care Division is looking for a fixed term/secondment (6 months) Speciality General Manager full time (37.5 hours) to join their new team. The post holder will be responsible for working with divisional management; nursing and clinical leadership teams to ensure services are operationally managed on a day to day basis ensuring robust performance management to various targets, financial and budgetary management and line management. The post holder will provide management leadership and expert advice to the Head of Operations, the Divisional Leadership Team and throughout the organisation to ensure that best practice, standards, tools and techniques are in place. The post holder will be expected to travel and work across all NUH campuses and the wider health community, including other Trusts in the region. The post holder will be expected to deputise for managers on occasion and ensure sufficient cover for colleagues. The post holder may also be required to link in with various projects to provide support and guidance.
