Job Description
Infrastructure Engineer - Challenger Bank - London Our client is one of the country's fastest growing online challenger banks. They're changing the way banking and finance are done with cutting edge technology. As part of their investment in IT they're looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer in their City of London office. In a lean, agile office they're looking for real all-rounder - someone who can own the Windows Server estate, help support the AWS Cloud environment, build new SCCM solutions, manage the VLAN and LAN network, manage Office 365 and Active Directory and build out automation with scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies - a very varied role! They're looking for someone who can join and add some strategy and a more "formalised" approach to infrastructure too - really take ownership of everything from engineering a solution to implementing it and maintaining it. Requirements: - Excellent experience of Windows infrastructure engineering, implementation and support - Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM and associated technologies - A good understanding of networking - WiFi, LAN, VLAN, Firewalls etc - An understanding of databases (MySQL, SQL Server etc) would be ideal - Excellent communication skills - Knowledge of AWS for Cloud and DevOps tools and technologies would be ideal - Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform etc - Motivated, proactive, "make it happen" attitude!
