GYNAECOLOGY OUTPATIENT AND DIAGNSOTIC SUITE DEPARTMENT BAND 3 Nursing Assistant Up to 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK If you have a genuine interest in Women's Health, are flexible and self-motivated, then we would like to hear from you. A nursing Assistant post has become available in our busy outpatient department. If you want to work within a supportive environment assisting the doctors to provide care for women with a wide range of gynaecological and obstetric conditions, then this could be the post for you. We have clinics for a variety of specialist areas including, colposcopy, fertility, urogynaecology, menstrual disorders, endometriosis and a two week wait service for both post-menopausal bleeding and pelvic masses, while also having the opportunity to support our Pre-operative assessment service. As well as a variety of specialist ante natal clinics. You will be expected to work as part of a team in order to assist the doctors with minor procedures, and diagnostic procedures in our see and treat clinics, and to facilitate the efficient running of all other clinics. You will assist in the maintenance of the patient environment in terms of cleanliness, tidiness and the restocking of supplies. You will receive an annual appraisal and a personal development plan to enable you to have structure within your role. This daytime post is for up to 32 hours per week, mostly Monday to Friday although there will be occasional evening and Saturday clinics. Previous experience would be an advantage; however training will be given to the successful candidate. Please check the essential requirements are met for application.
